Here is a layout using the Cherry Pie Kit.

I have had this tin that I purchased from Wal Mart some time ago, with the intentions of making it a recipe box. Well I started it today!! I made a recipe card and tabbed dividers. I will probably offer these as my first freebie on my blog. I just have to find out how to do that.

Anyway...This kit was perfect for this yummy recipe using real cherries. Thanks Candy!!

LOL great job, Traci. I'm glad the kit inspired you to get your project rolling. Now, to offer freebies on my blog - I signed up for a 4shared account (free) and I just post the preview and the download link that is available after you upload your .zipped freebie to 4shared.

You know how to .zip? On my computer, I just select the folder I want to zip up, then right-click it and from the menu I choose "Send to" and pick "Compressed Folder."

But, if your comp doesn't have that feature - you can use winRAR or winZIP to create a zip file. Just follow their instructions.

Make sure you name all the files beginning with your name or site name (ie pixiescraps_kitname-paper or tracithompson_kitname-paper) and don't forget to include a TOU.

I thought that everyone did that so that they could keep their files organized. Crap, I havent been doing that!

Haven't been doing what, Kim? Naming your files using your name? Remember.. not only do you need to keep your files organized on your computer, you also need to keep *your files* organized on your "customers" computer.

I name my files CCOOK.. that way, when they go to open the folder or the file.. all of my files start with CCOOK. So, when people go to list credits.. they don't have to search for my name, cause they probably won't.

I start all mine with "dranet" and I zip them in folders. The main reason I started doing that is because of frustration! Sometimes I'll download someone's freebie and it won't have ANY identification on it. So when I go to use it, I can't give them credit. I did the naming thing to help people out.

Candy I need your approval on this lo. All of it is your Memorial Kit except for the frame. I needed a white frame for my pic but I wanted to ask before I posted this in the Scrap Digi Style Gallery.

Do you want me to make a quick page from this layout that you can put up for sale? I would just have to make my own frame and then delete my pic and the title. All of the products (except the frame) are from your kit.
