Kim, not only templates.. but, flip through a magazine and take note of how the ads are laid out.. that helps me, too.

Now for my next LO.. this is using the AA kit, and some of my new Ordinary Hero kit.

Very good ideas guys! I do have some templates that I grabbed up as freebies. I always forget about them though. And I never thought about looking through magazines. I will try that!

Kim, if you have a couple bucks to spend.. the scrapbooks, etc magazine is usually a pretty inspiring mag to flip through.. they usually provide templates for each of the beautiful LOs for ideas.. and the ads are formatted to tempt scrapbookers, so they are inspiring as well.

Love the layout, Candy! Can't wait to get that new kit. The papers are gorgeous!

Kim, go by Halfprice books and look for scrapbooking books. They'll probably have paper layouts, but I have found all kinds of inspiration that way.

Yeah.. I thought about making the entire background nothing but ribbons overlapping each other - it would look like a piece of cardstock or cardboard wrapped with ribbons - somebody should try that.. it would look cool. I might do it.. hehe
